Full Description

Your guide will meet you at Our Office at approximately 8:30 AM.

Before the ride, your guide will adjust your mountain bike, check the brakes and provide a helmet and cycling gloves. The safety briefing covers trail conditions, group signals, braking techniques and how to approach steep or uneven sections.

Da Lat City to the Highland Trails

Begin the journey by leaving Da Lat’s urban streets and riding toward the surrounding hills.

The landscape gradually changes from local neighbourhoods to farmland, greenhouses and pine-covered slopes. The first section allows you to become comfortable with the bicycle before entering more demanding terrain.

Red-Clay Climbs and Pine Forest Tracks

Continue onto rugged red-clay trails leading deeper into the highlands. Expect sustained climbs, uneven surfaces and sections where you may need to slow down or push your bicycle.

Ride through pine forests and farming areas rarely visited by conventional sightseeing tours. Your guide will set a manageable pace and stop for water and recovery breaks when needed.

Remote Farms and Wooden Footbridges

The route continues through remote agricultural areas, passing greenhouses, small farms and rural communities.

Some sections may include narrow wooden footbridges, rough farm tracks or slippery surfaces. Riders should follow the guide’s instructions and walk their bicycles whenever conditions are unsafe.

Countryside Picnic Lunch

Stop in a suitable countryside location for a picnic lunch and a longer rest.

Use this time to recharge, drink water and prepare for the more technical afternoon sections. Fruit snacks and purified drinking water are also provided during the tour.

Technical Downhill Adventure

After lunch, continue along bumpy downhill trails requiring concentration, balance and controlled braking.

This section may include loose soil, exposed roots, rocks and steep descents. Your guide will explain the safest line and may ask less-experienced riders to walk through particularly difficult sections.

Final Ride and Return to Da Lat

Complete the final section of the 25-kilometre route before returning to central Da Lat.

The exact finishing point and return time depend on the group’s speed, weather, trail conditions and the number of rest stops. A support vehicle is available when required.
