Day 1 – Hanoi → Lan Ha Bay / Halong Bay (Lunch, Dinner)

7:30 AM: Meet at Hanoi Buffalo Hostel or Central Backpackers Hostel for departure by road and boat toward Cat Ba / Lan Ha Bay

Arrive at the Hideaway cruise for lunch, then check-in to your cabin

Cruise into scenic areas off the beaten track, then disembark on a quiet beach for swimming, volleyball, cliff jumping or just chilling with a cold drink

Back aboard, relax in one of the three Jacuzzis, enjoy the sunset party with happy hour offers, followed by a BBQ dinner and onboard party into the evening
Day 2 – Lazy Morning & Kayaking → Return to Hanoi (Breakfast, Lunch)

If you’re looking for adventure, new friends, and stunning views — this is the tour for you! The cruise was clean and surprisingly comfortable. We swam, kayaked, and partied under the stars. The beach stop was a highlight — I even did a cliff jump! The food was great, especially the BBQ dinner, and the crew were super chill. I made friends from around the world and didn’t want to leave. A must-do in Vietnam!

The whole trip was super organized, and the views of Lan Ha Bay were absolutely beautiful. The sunset party and music on the boat made it feel like a floating hostel — in a good way. The staff kept the energy up, and the kayaking was peaceful. Only downside was drink prices were a bit high on the boat, but that’s pretty normal. Still totally worth it for the experience. Would 100% recommend if you’re backpacking through Vietnam!
