Day 1: Ha Giang City – Quan Ba Heaven’s Gate – Yen Minh – Vuong Palace – Lung Cu Flag Tower – Dong Van

Your Ha Giang motorbike adventure kicks off as we leave the city and ride into the mist-covered mountains. The journey begins with a scenic climb through Bac Sum Pass toward the dramatic Quan Ba Heaven’s Gate, marking the entrance to the Dong Van Karst Plateau Global Geopark.

We pause at the Twin Mountains overlooking Tam Son Valley—a place wrapped in legend and beauty. Along the way, visit traditional H’mong villages, where locals still forge tools by hand and farm the terraced hillsides. This is a chance to connect with local life, far from the tourist crowds.

After a delicious lunch in Yen Minh, we explore the Vuong Family Palace, an elaborate H’mong royal mansion blending Chinese and French architecture, built during the French colonial era. Then we ride north to the symbolic Lung Cu Flag Tower, Vietnam’s northernmost point. The massive flag fluttering here represents unity among Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups.

The day ends in Dong Van, where you can stroll through the ancient Old Quarter, enjoy local specialties, and visit the vibrant night market. Overnight stay in a cozy hotel or homestay.

Day 2: Dong Van – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Meo Vac – Lung Ho – Mau Due – Ethnic Villages – Du Gia

Today’s ride is one of Vietnam’s most spectacular. We traverse the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass, known for its sky-high cliffs and jaw-dropping views over the Tu San Canyon and Nho Que River. Expect winding roads, deep valleys, and photo stops that will leave you speechless.

We take a break for lunch in Meo Vac, then continue riding through Lung Ho and Mau Due, descending into valleys dotted with ethnic villages.

Along the way, we visit a unique multi-ethnic village home to Dao, Tay, H’mong, Kinh, and Lo Lo people—an exceptional chance to witness Vietnam’s cultural diversity firsthand. You’ll also stop by Lung Tam Weaving Village, famous for its intricate, handmade linen and brocade crafted by H’mong women using centuries-old techniques.

We arrive in Du Gia, a peaceful mountain village surrounded by rice fields and waterfalls. Enjoy a home-cooked dinner and a restful night in a private room at a locally run bungalow or stilt house.

Day 3: Du Gia – Du Gia Waterfall – Lung Khuy Cave – Ha Giang City

Start your morning with the sounds of the countryside—roosters crowing, children playing, and farmers tending their crops. After breakfast, we walk or ride to the Du Gia Waterfall for a refreshing dip, or even some safe cliff-jumping for thrill seekers.

Later, we continue our ride through remote valleys and mountains toward Lung Khuy Cave—one of the largest and most beautiful caves in the Ha Giang region. Inside, admire towering stalactites, underground formations, and cool natural air.

As we make our way back to Ha Giang City, soak in final views of terraced rice fields and jungle-covered hills. We wrap up the tour with a brief sightseeing loop around town before dropping you off at your accommodation, full of memories and epic photos.

  • Board the sleeper bus or limousine back to Hanoi (arrival in Hanoi around 10:00–11:00 PM).

This tour offers a perfect mix of adventure, culture, and relaxation. Whether you’re riding behind an Easy Rider or driving yourself (with a valid license), the Ha Giang Loop is one of Vietnam’s most unforgettable experiences.
