🚐 Optional Pre-Tour: Hanoi – Ha Giang

Depart Hanoi in the evening (between 7:00–9:00 PM) via comfortable sleeper bus or limousine van.

Arrive in Ha Giang city early the next morning, around 4:00–5:00 AM.

A free bed is available at the tour office or hotel to rest and freshen up before the ride begins.
Return transfer to Hanoi after the tour is also available and can be arranged.
🏍 Day 1: Ha Giang – Quan Ba – Yen Minh

Ride through Bac Sum Pass and stop at Heaven’s Gate for panoramic mountain views.

Visit Nam Dam Village, home to the Dao ethnic group, and learn about local traditions.

Explore Lung Tam Village, famous for Hmong textile weaving.

Important information

Licenses: Self-riders must have a valid VN motorbike license and a 1968-convention IDP. Otherwise, ride pillion with the Easy Rider.

Luggage: Pack light (main bag ~20 kg max + daypack). Suitcases are not ideal.

Weather: Best seasons are typically Feb–Apr and Sep–Nov; winters can be cold, summers can be rainy—bring proper layers.

Roads are technical: tight switchbacks, gravel, potholes—riding pillion is safer if you’re inexperienced.

Fuel up in bigger towns; remote stretches can be sparse on gas stations.

Always wear protective gear (helmet, gloves, long sleeves).
