Full description
Day 1 – Hue → DMZ → Vinh Moc
Depart Hue and travel along Highway 1A. Stop at Long Hung Church, Quang Tri Citadel, and Hien Luong Bridge. Enjoy a coastal view at Cua Tung Beach and explore the fascinating Vinh Moc Tunnels. Overnight stay in Cua Tung.
Day 2 – Vinh Moc → Khe Sanh
Continue inland, visiting the Truong Son Cemetery, Con Thien base, and Camp Carroll. Explore Khe Sanh Combat Base Museum and stay overnight in Khe Sanh.
Day 3 – Khe Sanh → Phong Nha
Ride through the western Ho Chi Minh Trail, encountering lush jungle, mountain passes, and remote ethnic villages. Discover hidden waterfalls before arriving in Phong Nha in the late afternoon.
Optional Day 4 – Phong Nha → Dong Hoi
Visit Phong Nha or Tien Son Cave by boat, relax at Mooc Spring, and optionally visit historical sites before continuing to Dong Hoi.
