Choose Your Hai Van Pass Route

Option 1 – Hoi An to Hue via Hai Van Pass

Hoi An → Da Nang → Marble Mountains → Hai Van Pass → Lang Co → Elephant Springs → Hue

Start from your hotel in Hoi An and turn your transfer to Hue into a full-day motorbike adventure.

Ride along the coast toward Da Nang before visiting the Marble Mountains. Continue north and climb the legendary Hai Van Pass, stopping at panoramic viewpoints overlooking the mountains and sea.

Descend toward Lang Co, explore local coastal life and continue to Elephant Springs, where conditions permitting, you can cool off in the natural pools.

Finish the journey at your hotel in Hue in the late afternoon.

Best for: Travellers checking out of Hoi An and continuing their journey to Hue.

Option 2 – Hue to Hoi An via Hai Van Pass

Hue → Countryside Backroads → Elephant Springs → Lang Co → Hai Van Pass → Da Nang → Marble Mountains → Hoi An

Leave Hue behind and travel south through quiet countryside roads, rice fields and traditional villages.

Stop at Elephant Springs before continuing toward Lang Co Beach and Lap An Lagoon.

The highlight of the day is the ride across the Hai Van Pass, with winding mountain roads and spectacular views over the Central Vietnam coastline.

Continue through Da Nang and visit the Marble Mountains before finishing the tour at your hotel in Hoi An.

Best for: Travellers checking out of Hue and continuing south to Hoi An or Da Nang.

Option 3 – Hai Van Pass Loop from Hoi An

Hoi An → Da Nang → Son Tra Peninsula → Hai Van Pass → Lang Co → Hai Van Pass → Da Nang → Hoi An

Staying in Hoi An and don’t need to travel to Hue? Choose our Hai Van Pass Loop.

Ride from Hoi An toward Da Nang and explore the coastline before climbing the famous Hai Van Pass.

Stop at scenic viewpoints along the mountain road and continue toward the Lang Co side of the pass.

After exploring the area, ride back across Hai Van Pass from the opposite direction, giving you another perspective of this spectacular coastal road.

Return through Da Nang and finish the adventure back at your hotel in Hoi An.
