Day 1 – Saigon to Long Hai
Estimated distance: Approximately 140 km | Riding time: Approximately 4–6 hours
Leave Saigon and ride toward the coast as busy urban roads give way to smaller towns and agricultural areas. Take regular breaks while the route moves toward Ba Ria and Long Hai.
Stop for lunch along the way. A visit to a local historical site can be arranged if it is open and fits the chosen road. Arrive in Long Hai with time to enjoy the seaside setting before the first overnight stay.
Day 2 – Long Hai to Mui Ne
Estimated distance: Approximately 150 km | Riding time: Approximately 4–6 hours
Follow the southern coastal region north toward Mui Ne. Fishing harbours, beaches and cultivated land create a changing backdrop along the ride, with time for photographs where stopping is safe.
Choose a small number of visits along the way rather than trying to cover every coastal attraction. A Cham heritage site may be included if access and timing allow. Arrive in Mui Ne and settle in for the night.
Day 3 – Mui Ne to Bao Loc
Estimated distance: Approximately 160 km | Riding time: Approximately 5–7 hours
Leave the coast and climb inland toward the Central Highlands. The road passes dragon fruit-growing areas before the landscape becomes greener and the air cooler at higher elevations.
Take a lunch break and short stops on the ascent. A community visit will take place only where it has been appropriately arranged and visitors are welcomed. Continue to Bao Loc for the night.
Day 4 – Bao Loc to Da Lat via the Di Linh Area
Estimated distance: Approximately 130 km | Riding time: Approximately 4–6 hours, plus stops
Ride through the tea and coffee-growing landscapes around Bao Loc and Di Linh toward Da Lat. This day allows more time for stops than the previous climb from the coast.
Visit Pongour Waterfall if open and accessible, then continue toward Da Lat. Further stops around Tuyen Lam Lake or Truc Lam Zen Monastery depend on the chosen road and arrival time. Overnight in Da Lat.
Day 5 – Da Lat to Lak Lake
Estimated distance: Approximately 160 km | Riding time: Approximately 5–7 hours
Leave Da Lat through flower farms, coffee-growing areas and winding highland roads. The scenery opens up as the route descends toward the Lak Lake region.
Stop at an operating silk workshop and Linh An Pagoda if they fit the route. Elephant Waterfall may be visible from the pagoda depending on access and visibility; an entry to the waterfall is not scheduled. Continue to Lak Lake for the night.
Day 6 – Lak Lake to Buon Ma Thuot
Estimated distance: Approximately 120 km | Riding time: Approximately 3–5 hours, plus stops
Spend the morning around Lak Lake before travelling through farmland toward Buon Ma Thuot. The shorter ride provides time to observe how the local landscape shifts between lake, fields and coffee-growing areas.
A lake activity can be arranged separately if local services and weather permit. Visit a waterfall in the Buon Ma Thuot region if the site is open, but swimming is not part of the scheduled tour. Overnight in Buon Ma Thuot.
Day 7 – Buon Ma Thuot to Chu Se
Estimated distance: Approximately 160 km | Riding time: Approximately 5–7 hours
Ride north through the agricultural country of Dak Lak and Gia Lai. Pepper, rubber and coffee-growing areas may appear along the route, with regular breaks during this longer highland day.
Stop for lunch and visit an operating local workshop or museum only if it suits the final schedule. Continue toward Chu Se and settle in for the night.
Day 8 – Chu Se to Kon Tum via Pleiku
Estimated distance: Approximately 120 km | Riding time: Approximately 4–6 hours, plus visits
Travel north through the Pleiku area toward Kon Tum. The shorter distance gives the group time to enjoy the landscape without rushing the ride.
Stop near Sea Lake if accessible, then continue to Kon Tum. Visit the wooden church if open, and arrange any community visit in advance with local hosts. Overnight in Kon Tum.
Day 9 – Kon Tum to Kham Duc
Estimated distance: Approximately 180 km | Riding time: Approximately 5–7 hours
Leave Kon Tum and ride north through forested mountain scenery. Parts of the day follow roads associated with the Ho Chi Minh Trail as the route approaches Kham Duc.
Break for lunch and stop at historical places only where the selected road and site access allow. Keep the number of visits realistic for the distance. Arrive in Kham Duc for the final overnight stay.
Day 10 – Kham Duc to Hoi An
Estimated distance: Approximately 170 km | Riding time: Approximately 5–7 hours
Follow mountain roads east from Kham Duc toward the lower country and Hoi An. Take breaks at safe viewpoints as forested slopes gradually give way to farms, villages and busier roads.
Stop for lunch on the way. A heritage or craft visit can be considered if it lies on the confirmed route and remains open. Complete the journey with drop-off at the agreed location in Hoi An.

Ride Your Own Motorbike
