Cat Tien National Park Easy Rider Tour: HCMC to Da Lat – 3 Days

Day 1 – Ho Chi Minh City to Cat Tien National Park

Distance: approximately 150–170 km | Riding time: 5–6 hours

Leave Ho Chi Minh City after a safety briefing and follow quieter roads through Dong Nai Province. Urban traffic gradually gives way to plantations, villages and riverside scenery, with regular stops for rest and photographs.

Visit rubber, cashew and pepper farms, a local market and a rice-paper village when available. Cross a local ferry and finish the day at a bungalow or lodge in the Cat Tien area [Rew Rew to confirm].

Day 2 – Explore Cat Tien National Park

Distance: local park transport | Trekking: approximately 5 km

Travel into Cat Tien National Park and walk through tropical forest towards Crocodile Lake or another suitable trail. The route depends on weather, park regulations and the group’s fitness.

Look for native plants, birds and signs of wildlife with your guide; sightings are never guaranteed. If operating and conditions permit, join a night safari by jeep before returning to your Cat Tien accommodation.

Day 3 – Cat Tien National Park to Da Lat

Distance: approximately 180–200 km | Riding time: 6–7 hours

Leave Cat Tien and climb towards the Central Highlands on winding roads through farming communities. The landscape changes from tropical lowlands to cooler hills, tea fields and coffee-growing areas.

Stop at Pongour Waterfall and selected coffee, tea, mushroom or silk farms when accessible. Linh An Pagoda may be included if time allows, before hotel drop-off in central Da Lat between approximately 3:00 and 5:00 PM.

Easy Rider – Ride Behind a Local Guide

Sit behind an experienced local guide and enjoy the scenery without navigating. This option suits guests who want a relaxed journey with local insight and luggage support.

Private Car Option

Experienced riders may request a self-ride motorbike. You must carry a valid motorcycle licence and an International Driving Permit recognised in Vietnam; Rew Rew will confirm document requirements, bike availability and the final price before booking.

Do I need motorbike experience?

No experience is needed for the Easy Rider option because you ride behind a local guide. Self-riders must be experienced and carry valid documents accepted in Vietnam.

The planned walk is approximately 5 km on natural forest trails. Heat, humidity, rain and uneven ground can make it more demanding, so tell Rew Rew about mobility concerns before booking.

Will I definitely see wildlife?

No. Animals move freely in their natural habitat, so sightings cannot be guaranteed. Your guide will help identify plants, birds and signs of wildlife.

Is the night safari always available?

The safari depends on park operations, weather and local conditions. Rew Rew will confirm availability as close to the tour date as possible.

Where does the tour start and finish?

Pick-up is planned from a central Ho Chi Minh City hotel at approximately 8:00–8:30 AM. The tour ends at your hotel in central Da Lat, usually between 3:00 and 5:00 PM.

What happens to my luggage?

Luggage is transported separately or securely carried according to group size and vehicle choice. Bring a small daypack for items needed during the ride.
