Your guide will collect you from your accommodation in central Da Lat at approximately8.30 AM or 1pmPM. After a short introduction and safety briefing, leave the city and travel west towards Ta Nung.

The route gradually changes from urban streets to pine-covered hills, vegetable farms and coffee plantations. There will be time to stop at a safe viewpoint when road and weather conditions allow.

Walk through a working coffee garden with a local host or guide. Learn how the Central Highlands climate supports coffee cultivation and how farmers care for Arabica and Robusta plants.

Continue to the farm’s processing area to follow the journey from freshly picked coffee cherries to beans ready for roasting. Learn how ripe cherries are selected and how poor-quality or unripe fruit can affect the final cup.

Your host will introduce common processing methods used in Vietnam, which may include natural, honey and washed processing. You may also see drying beds, green beans and dried coffee husks used to prepare cascara tea.

Travel through the coffee-growing area to a local silk workshop. Observe how silkworm cocoons are processed and how fine silk fibres are prepared for weaving.

Make a final cultural stop at Linh An Pagoda, a Buddhist complex surrounded by the countryside near Nam Ban. Walk through the temple grounds and see the large Lady Buddha and Happy Buddha statues.

 After the visit, return to Da Lat through the mountain countryside.
