4-Day Saigon to Nha Trang Easy Rider Tour

Day 1 – Ho Chi Minh City to Dong Xoai

Estimated distance: 160–180 km | Riding time: 5–6 hours

Leave Ho Chi Minh City and travel towards Cu Chi before continuing through the countryside. The busy urban landscape gradually changes into quieter roads, rubber plantations and small farming communities.

Explore the Cu Chi Tunnels and learn how the underground network was used during the war. Continue through the plantation region and arrive in Dong Xoai in the late afternoon for your first overnight stay.

Day 2 – Dong Xoai to Dak Mil

Estimated distance: 180–210 km | Riding time: 6–7 hours

Follow scenic rural roads and sections of the Ho Chi Minh Trail towards Dak Mil. Ride through cashew-growing areas, forested landscapes and communities located near Vietnam’s border with Cambodia.

Visit a local war memorial, cashew-processing workshop, bamboo village and rice-noodle producer when operating. Taste seasonal tropical fruit along the way before arriving in Dak Mil for the night.

Day 3 – Dak Mil to Lak Lake

Estimated distance: 160–180 km | Riding time: 5–6 hours

Continue across the Central Highlands through agricultural landscapes, rivers and small villages. The journey follows sections of the Ho Chi Minh Trail before turning towards the waterfall region of Dak Nong and Dak Lak.

Visit Dray Sap, Dray Nur or Gia Long Waterfall according to access and weather conditions. Continue to an M’Nong community near Lak Lake, enjoy the sunset and stay in a traditional longhouse or standard hotel [Rew Rew to confirm].

Day 4 – Lak Lake to Nha Trang

Estimated distance: 170–190 km | Riding time: 6–7 hours

Leave Lak Lake and ride through farming villages, forested mountains and remote highland scenery. Cross mountain roads and the historic Phoenix Pass before descending towards the warmer coastal plains of Khanh Hoa Province.

Stop at local villages and observe daily farming life along the route. Visit a fishing community near the coast before arriving at your hotel in central Nha Trang at approximately 4:00–5:00 PM.

Easy Rider – Ride Behind a Local Guide

Travel as a passenger while a local guide drives the motorbike. You can enjoy the scenery without needing to ride yourself. This is the travel style described on the current tour page.

Self-Ride Motorbike Option

Experienced riders can ask to follow the guide on their own motorbike for the four-day route. The motorcycle model, availability, price, fuel, luggage arrangements, required riding documents and insurance conditions must be agreed before booking.

Private Car Option

Groups who prefer to travel by car can request the same general itinerary  Some motorcycle stops or smaller roads may need to change.

Do I need motorbike experience?

No experience is required when you choose the Easy Rider option. You travel as a passenger while your local guide controls the motorbike.

Riding experience and valid legal documents are required for the self-ride option.

Can I ride my own motorbike?

Yes, experienced riders may request a self-ride option. Rew Rew must check your motorcycle licence, International Driving Permit and riding experience before confirming the booking.

How much riding is involved each day?

Most days include approximately five to seven hours of riding. The journey is divided by sightseeing, photography and refreshment stops.

Distances and arrival times may change because of traffic, weather and road conditions.

Where will we stay?

The tour includes overnight stops in Dong Xoai, Dak Mil and the Lak Lake area. The exact hotels, guesthouses or traditional longhouse accommodation will be confirmed before departure.

Are meals included?

Meal arrangements are not clearly stated on the current tour page and must be confirmed by Rew Rew. Your guide can recommend local restaurants and assist with dietary requests when possible.

Can we swim at the waterfalls?

Swimming depends on water levels, weather, local restrictions and safety conditions. Always follow instructions from your guide and site authorities.

What happens to my luggage?

Small and medium-sized bags can normally be secured to the motorbike. Large suitcases should be stored in Ho Chi Minh City or transferred separately [Rew Rew to confirm].

Can this tour operate from Nha Trang to Ho Chi Minh City?

A reverse itinerary may be available upon request. The route, accommodation and final price must be confirmed separately.
